The GKGel sachet is based on the proven ability of calcium chloride to absorb moisture from the environment very effectively. The GKGel sachet absorbs up to 360% of its weight in water. The water absorbed forms a gel that is retained inside the sachet, thus avoiding the typical leakage of traditional desiccants.
